Raw pictures for the Battle of Greuberbach

The Jackson Gamers had a Schwabian Wars battle at Jay Striblings home this Saturday.A great time was had by all with both sides claiming victory when the game ended after 2pm.I will be working on the conflicting battle reports for my other blogs.

The start of the game with Schwabian Dragoons deployed in the distance and Harzburg Dragoons on the pontoon bridge over the swollen Freshet river near Greuberbach. They hoped to beat any defenders while ravishing the countryside for provisions.

[ We were very short on space to place troops, rules, and dice and this lead to a cluttered table. My humble apologies. ]

  2. During the game one of the players said that we were near von Greubers farmstead. I named the battle for the bach (steam). We played the game with the stream swollen from winter runoff and only fordable at the pontoon bridge.
