American Civil War

 Scale: 30mm;
Rules: Don Featherstone’s Horse and Musket

I arrived for my morning game about 10 minutes late and found the game in the first already in progress. I was assigned 2 Union cavalry units,George Custers 6th Illinois and 1st Michigan and told I would be part of the reinforcements.Pictured is a Union General moving his command to seize the town while 2 Rebel units have moved by road across the table and crossed the bridge to a position on the Union side of the river.

A view of the table from the perspective of the game masters at the head of the table.
The table is set out as in the book, chalk river and roads, hills, woods, and town.

A close view of the 2 Rebel units on the road facing the Union entry point
